The website was developed by the “Building Alabama” program. This project is a collaboration between the University of Alabama’s College of Engineering and the University’s “Science in Motion” program. “Building Alabama” is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is aimed at increasing K-12 awareness in engineering by developing science and math coursework with engineering applications. This coursework is made available free of charge and can be downloaded from the program’s website.
