NSEUS, National Study of Education in Undergraduate Science is a 5-year project that focuses on critical needs in teaching undergraduate science to all diverse majors with emphasis on the preparation and long-term development of pre-service, undergraduate, K-6 teachers of science. It highlights the importance of science in today’s growing technological society.
The Goals of this Program are:
- Investigate the impact of NOVA reformed undergraduate science courses on learning and teaching of K-6 science teachers
- Help advance the research and teaching of undergraduate science faculty
- Why Undergraduate Science?
- Influences pre-service teachers’ conceptions of science and how it should be taught
